INTRODUCTION

A conceptual packaging design for a limited edition wine bottle for a wine museum in Greece. Inspired from Greek mythology & Greek design, we crafted this intricate label that features Dionysus, the Greek God of wine in his prime. Dionysus’ numerous miracles made him the ultimate God of wine and celebration. Represented with his symbols Ivy, grapes and the bull, this label speaks to the royal and prestigious nature of this limited edition aged red wine which is a mix of exceptional oak aroma, ruby colour and velvety soft taste. The Name of the wine ‘Amplones’ is hand-crafted typography to match the aesthetic of the label. The printing approach is gold foiling done directly on the glass bottle taking the design to a whole new level.
